TWGHs Student Ambassador Tour to London 2016

Our school values the all-round development of our students and places great emphasis on providing students with a rich learning experience. Two F.5 students from our school, Michael Hui and Yvonne Zhou, together with 20 students from other 17 Tung Wah secondary schools went on a tour to London.

The objectives of the London tour:

1. to enhance students' knowledge and understanding concerning the history of Hong Kong immigrants now living in London;

2. to provide students with opportunities to learn from the spirit of Hong Kong people striving for success in London;

3. to further develop students' leadership with communication skills and an attitude that embraces active learning;

4. to widen our students' horizon and further their international exposure.

Altogether the two students spent 8 days in London. They explored different places, tasted different food, interacted with different people, and encountered different experiences. The trip is an eye-opener for them. Given the opportunity to meet with the people of London, the tour was both informative and inspiring. And the students have been deeply impacted by the English culture.
